Rental Terms and Conditions
1. Insurance and Operation

Insurance Requirement: The Renter must provide proof of valid, primary auto insurance. If no proof is provided, the Renter must purchase coverage via the Company.

Authorized Drivers Only: Only the individual(s) listed on this agreement are authorized to operate the vehicle. Operation by any unauthorized person will be treated as a breach of contract and may result in the vehicle being reported as stolen to law enforcement.
2. Vehicle Use and Geographic Limits

Geographic Restrictions: The vehicle may not leave the state of [Insert State] without prior written consent.

Prohibited Activities: Smoking or vaping of any kind is strictly prohibited. Violation results in an immediate cleaning fee and forfeiture of the deposit.
3. Maintenance and Repairs

Damage Responsibility: The Renter is 100% responsible for all damage, loss, or theft of the vehicle while in their possession.

Repair Consent: No repairs or mechanical work may be performed on the vehicle without the Company’s express written consent.
4. Return Policy and Extensions

Location & Time: The vehicle must be returned to the designated pick-up/delivery location at the agreed-upon date and time.

Fuel: The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as provided at checkout.

Extensions: Renters must obtain approval at least [24] hours prior to the scheduled return time to extend a rental.
5. Failure to Return (Stolen Vehicle Policy)
Notice: Failure to return the vehicle at the date, time, and location specified in this contract—without an approved extension—constitutes unauthorized use and conversion. In such cases, the Company reserves the right to:
Report the vehicle as stolen to local and national law enforcement agencies.
Remotely disable the vehicle (if equipped with GPS/Kill-switch).
Initiate legal action for the recovery of the vehicle and damages.
6. Violations and Penalties
Any violation of this agreement will result in the automatic forfeiture of the security deposit and potential civil or criminal legal action.
